The Leycraft-designed Fastrack Ski Helmet was so popular with extreme ski racers that he was made the Official Ski Helmet Supplier for the new International Speed Skiing Inc. speed circuit.

Races were held all over the world, wherever a track could be found that might be steep enough to break the World Speed Record. Racers from over a dozen countries, wearing Leycraft helmets, pole fairings and boot covers broke the speed record over two dozen times, pushing the high-mark from 189 to over 250 kilometers per hour! Nowadays, the same helmets are being used by skateboarders in their pursuit of speed and speed records!

One of Kevan's fin-back helmets is on display at the New York Museum of Modern Art.
