The ski-rocket evolved and grew over several years along side Leycraft’s growing family. When asked to build a centerpiece for his two year old son’s birthday cake, Kevan misunderstood his wife’s request and built a rocket he could ride in! It started out with wheels and was a great sidewalk cruiser.

Once the snow came, skis replaced the wheels and the neighbourhood kids loved it even more! When his son gained a sister, the cockpit was enlarged to carry two or more kids. It was a huge hit at all the local toboggan hills and even saw service at the ski hill daycare at Lake Louise where its’ lucky riders posed for cameras from all over the world!
